The Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) Grape Varietal

Grauburgunder (also called Pinot Gris, Pinot Grigio or Ruländer) is the link between Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc in the large Burgundian grape group. It was brought to Austria by Cistercian monks from their homeland of Burgundy as early as the 14th century and has since spread almost all over the world.
