In the heart of the Prosecco Superiore DOCG area, is the famous Villa Sandi winery. It is dedicated to caring for Glera grapes and the creation of a particularly elegant sparkling wine. Villa Sandi itself is a splendid building dating from 1622. The Moretti-Polegato family has been established in the world of wine for generations and continues this tradition, with the name of the representative house also being that of the winery. The villa is visited by around 20,000 wine fans every year and exports a good 5 million bottles of Prosecco in different qualities all over the world.
