Description
Pet-nats are all the rage, and so is the Gemischter Satz. The Zahel organic winery in Vienna combines these two trends perfectly in a sparkling wine created in honour of Grandma Zahel's 90th birthday. This wine is a testament to the winery's dedication to organic and intergenerational cultivation.
Hand-harvested, the Gemischter Satz undergoes its initial fermentation in used wooden barrels before being bottled for a second fermentation. It is naturally cloudy, unfiltered, and free of added sulphur. The result is a lively, easy-to-drink natural sparkling wine with delightful notes of peach, grapefruit, and fresh lemons. Its lively acidity, bone-dry profile, and well-balanced structure are complemented by fine, sparkling bubbles that invite the next sip.
This sparkling wine is a wonderful choice as an aperitif, for your next garden party, or paired with oysters and seafood.
