Uwe Schiefer has transformed grapes from nearly 50-year-old vines in Lutzmannsburg (Central Burgenland) into a terrific red wine that proves how wonderful this varietal can be. A warm, balanced vintage, the meticulous craftsmanship of the winemaker, the long ageing in 500L wooden barrels and the huge potential of the grape varietal. It all comes together perfectly here.

This is a Vinaria winner, which the famous international wine critic James Suckling awarded 95 out of 100 points and Wine Enthusiast 96 points! AlaCarte gave it an astounding 98-point rating! Dark and stimulating with fine wood nuances. Juicy with a chocolatey, warm finish. Elegant, substantial and decisive. Impressive to the very last drop and has a very long ageing potential.
