Castello di Tassarolo Titouan No Sulphites Gavi DOCG 2019 Organic, 0,75 L

Wow, we wouldn't have expected this wine to come from Piedmont. It was produced biodynamically, then matured in barrique barrels and bottled without additional sulphites.

The name comes from the horse "Titouan" with whom the vineyard is cultivated. Very traditional and gentle on the soil.

A wine that breaks with every convention but will still taste good to many who are into conventionally produced wine.

100% Cortese di Gavi, produced as gently and as much according to biodynamic principles as possible. The wine has a slightly different nose due to the absence of protective sulphites, but retains a lot of light fruit and a very nice, barely noticeable vanilla aroma. Powerful and creamy on the palate, with light fruits, especially a lot of pears and some apples, plus a pleasant acidic structure and fine tannin.

This is not an everyday wine, but we like it very much and, above all, it is very drinkable. A wine produced like this just slips down.
