A typical Wachau Riesling Smaragd with 93-94 points and excellent value for money. Like the Grüner Veltliner Bergdistel, the grapes for this wine also come from some of the most beautiful vineyards in the Wachau wine-growing region.

Classically matured in steel tanks and aged for 9 months on the fine lees. A dry, medium-bodied wine that makes you want a second glass and feels incredibly light despite the 13% alcohol content. A clear, clean and typical Riesling with plenty of body and well-supported acidity. Juicy and fruity, flavours of apricot and peach with an exotic touch. Elegant and persistent, each sip demands the next. It is now reaching drinking maturity but can be easily stored for another 10-12 years.

Great value for money and a wine that tastes much more expensive than it actually is. Pairs perfectly with fish and seafood, but also a fantastic wine to enjoy solo.
