When we tasted this wine for the first time, the smile on our faces was clear to see: "This is exactly how it should taste".

Fully ripe Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon have an incomparable flavour that you simply have to love as a red wine lover.

Dark berries, lots of ripe redcurrants, blueberries and blackberries and some sour cherries leap out of the glass. There are also roasted flavours, vanilla and coffee.

A beguiling fruit on the palate, dark flavours, powerful and multi-layered. Great acidity gives the wine a youthful freshness, ripe, soft tannins and a long finish.

The wine should be decanted. It needs plenty of air to breathe and certainly has a good decade or more of potential.
