La Barroche
France / Rhône / Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Alexandre Barrot acquired his first vineyards in the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape in 1703 and his expertise has been passed down through the generations. When wine was still considered a raw material and wasn't valued, the Barrot family began to improve the quality of their products, which quickly increased their popularity. At the beginning of the 2000s, the youngest generation, siblings Laetitia and Julien Barrot, joined the La Barroche brand.
On 15 hectares of cultivation area, the siblings now cultivate 13 different grape varieties, with a clear focus on Grenache. These were planted in the early 19th century and continue to produce grapes of the highest quality to this day.
