Salzl Seewinkelhof

Weingut Salzl is located in the Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel National Park and has been run as a family winery for many years. Three generations are currently working hand in hand: Heribert, Josef and Christoph Salzl, and Christoph has been taking on more and more of the work since 2005. The wines are known for their softness and warmth. The most modern technology is used for white and red wines, and most of the wines are allowed to mature in barrique barrels. Zweigelt is the leading grape, but Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Cabernet Franc are also grown for red wines. For white wines the focus is on the Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris. Salzl wines enjoy a great reputation worldwide and, most importantly, taste wonderful.
