Champagne Gimonnet-Gonet

France / Champagne / Le Mesnil-sur-Oger

Gimonnet-Gonet is a familiar name to many champagne connoisseurs. That's no wonder: Two big names from the champagne scene came together to create this great Chardonnay-based tipple. Great things were practically guaranteed to result.

The winery was founded in 1986 by Anne and Philippe Gimonnet, both descendants of well-known Champagne families. Their winery is now one of the best in Champagne.

The winery cultivates 13.5 hectares, 6 hectares of which are classified as Grand Cru and are located in the municipalities of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Chouilly, Oiry, Cramant and Oger. The remaining vineyards (Pinot Noir & Pinot Meunier) are in the Marne Valley, in the villages of Vincelles, Verneuil and Troissy.

For us, there is no question that a new star is rising in the champagne sky - a company that is already producing fascinating and incredibly complex champagne that can compete with the best. We look forward to what's to come!
