Description

Beerenkräfte is a strong, multi-layered gin from Styria in southern Austria.

Typical gin ingredients (juniper, coriander and a few other botanicals) are combined to make small batches of 360 bottles.

The gin gets its complex aromatic body from elderflowers, lemon and orange zest. These are combined with hand-picked Styrian Aronia berries (aka chokeberries) to create something truly unique.

These ingredients are carefully processed and distilled by hand by Beerenkräfte master distiller Wolfgang Thomann. The subsequent maturation period in a stainless steel tank gives it time to fully develop.

"In the nose, we find a successful fruity interplay of Aronia berries and orange zest, subtly accompanied by fine elderflowers. Though the juniper berries remain restrained in the nose, they unfold their full aroma on the palate and, together with the coriander, make this gin a real experience. A pure pleasure.”
