Description
Uwe Schiefer also displays his dedication to great art with this white wine from Eisenberg. The blend made from Weissburgunder and Welschriesling was matured in used barrique barrels for twelve months and allowed to mature in the bottle for another twelve months.
Farmed according to organic guidelines and bottled without refining or filtration.
The more than 40-year-old vines represent this unique region in southern Burgenland: A multifaceted, intense bouquet of ripe melons and stone fruit with delicately smoky aromas. Dense on the palate, full of finesse and very complex. Pear, ripe gooseberries and pure Eisenberger minerality! In the end, salty on the tongue, a perfect balance with Burgundian finesse, very long finish. It doesn't get any better than this!
Not a wine to down quickly - very stimulating and simply enriching.
