This Chardonnay from Isonzo in Friuli is extremely popular because it guarantees uncomplicated drinking pleasure with al the characteristics of a typical Chardonnay. A shimmering golden yellow in the glass. Lots of citrus on the nose with hints of exotic notes and some yellow fruit. The palate delivers what the nose promises. Juicy, with a lovely citrus note and a hint of pineapple. This is what you would expect from a Chardonnay that is ripe, but not fat and overpowering. An excellent nice summer wine that pairs well with many Mediterranean dishes featuring fish and poultry.

A very enjoyable wine for the price that certainly stands out from the crowd of mass-produced wines.
