Description
The Alteetzen vineyard slopes to the southeast with deep, warm loess soil and ideal conditions for growing high-quality grapes. 60-year-old vines guarantee unique grapes for this Grüner Veltliner. The age of these vines is reflected in the awards this great price-performance wine has received. Falstaff, A la Carte and Wine Enthusiast give it 93-95 points and agree that this is a great wine - perfect!
Aged partly in a steel tank and partly in a large acacia barrel. On the nose, find tobacco-like spice, underlaid with yellow apple and a hint of tropical fruit. Juicy and complex on the palate with a sweet core. Elegant notes of honeydew melon accompany the wine into a long-lasting finish. Guaranteed development potential and especially recommended with Indian and Asian dishes. Great to drink now, but can be stored for many years!
