One of the best, if not the best Chardonnay in Austria! Every year, the GLORIA is one of the country's top wines and is praised to the skies by national and international critics alike. This 2021 was the Falstaff winner with 98 points!

The south-east-facing Gloria vineyard was first mentioned in a document in 1570 and is surrounded by the forests of the Leitha Mountains. It offers the best growing conditions for Chardonnay vines on the very calcareous brown soil. Matured in small French oak barrels, the wine, although still very young, is easy to drink.

Every sip is intense and enormously complex. As in Burgundy, the grape varietal takes a back seat here and reflects the terroir of its location. Yeast, brioche, delicate, fine wood with ripe yellow fruit. Pure mineral nuances! Finely textured and perfectly balanced into the lingering finish. Great cinema on the palate. It has enormous ageing potential - 20 years or more.
