Marion Bosser Champagne

Small but outstanding winery from Hautvillers

Marion Bosser is a very small champagne house that has been in the family since 1891. Mother Bernadette and daughter Elodie work almost 3 hectares with "Premier Cru" vineyards that are on average 43 years old.

The Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grape varieties grow directly in Hautvillers, the legendary birthplace of champagne. This is the place where the monk Dom Pérignon dedicated his life to striving for the best wine and brought bubbles into the bottle. The Chardonnay grapes for Marion Bosser come exclusively from Premier and Grand Cru locations in the Côte de Blancs, which is known for its exceptional quality.

By the way, Elodie, who is responsible for winemaking, originally studied medicine. But in the end she decided to study oenology in Beaune. Their aim is to use sustainable methods to harvest the best grapes from their vineyards in order to achieve the highest quality in the cellar.
