Hohenwarth is located in the western reaches of the Weinviertel region and lies at altitude of around 350 metres above sea level. This makes the area ideal for elegant, mineral wines loaded with character. This typical Grüner Veltliner thrives on warm loess soil which impressed us during the tasting.

In addition to the characteristic notes of white pepper, the wine has a delicately creamy flavour with a clean freshness that is a testament to its origin. Not too heavy, not too sugary, a fine balance of fruit, flavour and acidity. Very enjoyable to drink, especially on warm days.

Pairs well with traditional Austrian cuisine.
