Description
This Chardonnay is an ambassador for the terroir of Leutschach in southern Styria. A delicate and multi-faceted white wine that pleases everyone.
After 12 months in large traditional oak casks and some bottle ageing, it's now ready to be enjoyed. We'd call the wine medium-bodied with a delicate character. Its slight minerality comes from the calcareous clay marl soil, which is also known as "Opok". In the beginning, quite juicy on the palate with yellow fruits, then delicately salty and vibrant on the finish. Creates a new impression with every sip. A really nice wine for the money.
Goes well with veal, mushroom dishes, seafood or vegetarian food.
