Bernhard Ecker has once again proven that he is one of the best "Roter Veltliner" winemakers in Austria. The Steinberg Reserve 2023 was awarded 95 points by Falstaff as the best of its kind! Rightly so, in our opinion.

This is a dry white wine from the Steinberg vineyard. Matured for 1 year in large acacia wood barrels. Dense and opulent on the palate and in the nose. Notes of melon, peach and honey are discernible. Very complex with a mineral, infinitely long finish. Still young, but hints at its very long ageing potential. A truly great wine!

Pairs perfectly with truffles and game.
Also a great substitute for red wine with beef.
