Description
This very juicy white wine blend comes from the town of Tieschen in the Styrian volcanic region and is a flagship for Der Gollenz. It's a great representative of the region's soil and grapes.
Chardonnay, Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) and Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc) were matured separately in large and small wooden casks and then married together. The result is a spicy wine with a lot of charm. The creamy texture makes it very smooth and seductive. Yellow ripe pears, orange zest, pineapple and some lemongrass are paired with mild acidity. The well-integrated wood provides a certain kick and volume into a long finish.
Great with food, a crowd-pleaser and perfect for every occasion.
