Château de Beaucastel

Château Beaucastel has a long history going back to the mid-16th century when the Beaucastel family lived in Courthézon and the nobleman Pierre de Beaucastel acquired lands in the area. Today the chateau is run by the 4th generation of the Perrin family. The fifth generation of Marc, Pierre, Thomas and Matthieu is already preparing to take over. If one were to describe the red wines of Beaucastel with one word, it would be "pure". Pure, because the red wines are an exact reproduction of the soil and the grapes from which they came.
