One of the best sparkling wines in Austria!

The basic grapes for this sparkling wine come from a cross-section of varieties (Pinot Noir, Riesling, Grüner Veltliner) grown by Weingut Gobelsburg in its vineyards. The grapes come from the famous Heiligenstein, Gaisberg, Grub and Lamm vineyards. They are picked into small boxes at the perfect time and pressed immediately, but only the pomace is used for the base wine. After 6 months of barrel storage, it is bottled for the second fermentation. It rests on the yeast, which contributes to the creamy texture, for 2 to 3 years until it is shaken by hand and disgorged.

Inviting on the nose, with yellow tropical fruits, dry on the palate, fine persistent mousseux (pearls) gently rounded off with peach, blossom honey and a bit of biscuit. A finesse-rich and finely spicy finish with a fresh citrus note. Fantastic from the first sip. A benchmark for this price!
