This Riesling from Markus Huber's Ried Berg Erste Lage is counted among the best of its kind and is rated very highly by critics every year.

The chalky and barren soil with a gradient of over 25% is perfect for the king of white wines. The grapes are organic, hand-picked and carefully selected. They're then matured for 8 months in large wooden barrels. The wine is now slowly entering its ideal drinking window, although it has the potential to improve over the next 10 years and more.

Very elegant on the nose and palate; dry with intensive fruit. We find ripe stone fruit paired with fine tropical fruit. Multifaceted and inviting at the same time. The perfectly integrated acidity ensures a great balance. A great wine with enormous length, without being opulent.

Wonderful with fish, seafood or Asian cuisine.
