Description

The 1st vineyard "Ried Berg" in Traisental is considered to be one of the best vineyards in this wine-growing region. And Markus Huber knows better than almost any other winemaker in the region how to make great wines with enormous potential.

3 x 95 points for this wine from respected wine critics are the rule rather than the exception. Carefully selected hand-picked organic grapes are matured for 8 months in large acacia wood barrels and stored for a long time on the fine lees. An elegant wine with pressure and clear characteristics of the varietal.

Intense aroma and flavour of orange zest, yellow pears, stone fruit and hints of meadow herbs. Rich in finesse, delicately salty notes from the minerality. Dry, yet intensely fruity with a very long, pleasant, warm finish.

Pairs well with white meat, cheese or Asian curries. Can be safely aged for 10 to 15 years.
