Description

The Eisenberg wine-growing region has been on the rise for the past few years and is really hot right now. You'll know why once you taste this fantastic wine from the Szapary vineyard located there. It is 100% Eisenberg Blaufränkisch and exhibits all the characteristics that make this region so special. A delicate yet self-confident wine that leaves a lasting impression.

After 18 months in 500 L oak barrels, the wine was allowed to mature in the bottle for a few more months. Delicate, very fine woody spice with underlying red berries on the nose. A huge impression on the palate - full-bodied and iron-rich, very lively, yet fruity. The finish is typically mineral and salty with a long finish. Lingers beautifully on the palate and is an immediate delight to drink.

The wine is now beginning to reach drinking maturity and has a long ageing potential - it will still bring a smile to your face in 10-15 years' time.
Pairs wonderfully with lamb and game meat.
