Description

1st place in the Falstaff Burgundy Trophy Chardonnay with the 2020 vintage and 93 points are not the exception with this wine, but the rule!

Its exceptionally high quality is astonishing considering that the Chardonnay 2022 from the Leitha Mountains is Kollwentz's entry into the world of white wine. Matured in large wooden barrels made from Austrian oak, the wine represents the region perfectly. The grape varietal loves the limestone soils here, which is reflected in the full-bodied, elegant wine with a delicate spice.

Spicy aromas of yellow fruit. A fine, supple, beautiful wine, uncomplicated but sophisticated. With a lingering finish. It is still quite young but has great ageing potential.

A harmonious companion with food - pairs well with white meat, pasta and fish.
