Description
This Maestro red wine cuvée is a true masterpiece! A virtuoso compilation that melts on the tongue and was created from Blaufränkisch, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
After 20 months in barriques (2nd filling) and from the balanced 2018 vintage, you get a big red wine. It's wonderfully modern and yet with an elegant style. Dark berry fruits dominate the nose with notes of tobacco and precious wood. Dry but juicy on the palate, almost sweet tannins with a touch of vanilla. Plums and ripe blackberries greet you with a well-formed finish. A coherent red wine from this great winemaker with a very fair price-enjoyment ratio.
If drunk young, should be opened or decanted 1-2 hours in advance. Is sure to be the secret star at every festival and goes well with dark meat dishes or aged cheese.
