Since 2000, the Blaufränkisch "Cupido" has been produced by J. Heinrich, which was created as a wedding wine for Silvia and won the Falstaff award right away. Since then, the wine has attained cult status and is unfortunately available only in limited quantities and only in the best years (such as 2019). CUPIDO means "desire" in Latin and " l'amour au tournant" means "the turning point of love"

And each vintage is an artistic masterpiece and an expression of true appreciation for this wine. On the nose - rich and tantalising aromas of roasted coffee, dark berries and cedar wood. After 36 months in new French barriques, there is a fine nougat touch on the palate. Dense with juicy, ripe cherries and dark berries. A firm tannin core testifies to the incredible size and the very long ageing potential.
