Sourced exclusively from the organic vineyards of Hochäcker and Dürrau, this wine benefits from the region’s heavy clay soils with limestone inclusions, lending it both power and opulence while maintaining an elegant minerality.

Hand-harvested and aged for 18 months in 500-litre oak barrels, it is only coarsely filtered, preserving its full character. In the glass, it reveals a deep ruby-red hue. On the nose and palate, it is dry and expressive, with notes of ripe dark berries, fine spice, and a vibrant acidity. Subtle oak influences add depth without overpowering, while the tannins are beautifully ripe and well-integrated. The wine is bold and structured, and lingers long on the palate, finishing with dark fruit and a touch of minerality. Wonderfully balanced!

A true expression of both variety and terroir—authentic without being ostentatious. With a cellaring potential of at least 10 years, this is Blaufränkisch at its finest. We wouldn’t want it any other way!
