Weingut Gernot Heinrich Organic Pannobile Red 2021, 0,75 L

The name Pannobile refers to both the origin (Pannonia) and the special value of these wines (mobile = noble). Nine winegrowers from Gols joined forces over 25 years ago to create a Burgenland brand that visibly signals quality from afar. What all "Pannobiles" have in common is that they are matured in wooden barrels and that the grapes used are mainly autochthonous or native varieties.

This balanced, organic red wine cuvee of 50% Zweigelt and 50% Blaufänkisch has an aroma of sweet plums with delicate vanilla. A long finish with a silky tannins is reflected on the palate. The wood (30 months in 500 litre oak barrels) is beautifully integrated. Fruit and elegance take centre stage. This Pannobile red is still young but open-hearted and will continue to develop over the next few years and bring a smile to your face. But we like it very much already.

Pairs well with dark meat, game, mature cheese and as an accompaniment to a relaxed conversation with friends.
