Description
Heideboden is known to many people with an affinity for wine. This large geographical area around Neusiedlersee produces easy to drink, velvety red wines mostly from Gols, Mönchhof, Halbturn or Podersdorf with an attractive price-performance ratio.
This still young Zweigelt Heideboden has been organically grown. After six months ageing in large wooden barrels, the wine is dark purple in the glass. There's warm cherry and sour cherry fruit on the nose and it's very juicy on the palate. On the finish, we find soft tannins with an invigorating drinkability that calls for a second sip.
Pairs well with pizza, pasta, roasts and is a harmonious accompaniment to BBQs.
