The vines for this high-quality local wine are sourced from the neighbouring vineyards of the esteemed Krispel winery in Straden. This wine offers exceptional value for its price, delivering a lot of character and quality.

After spending a good 12 months in large French oak barrels, the wine remains youthful yet exhibits plenty of power and charm, qualities that suit Pinot Blanc particularly well.

In the glass, it displays a golden yellow, shiny colour. The nose is intense, with aromas of ripe pineapple, pears, and a smoky noblewood note. On the palate, it is powerful, creamy, and full-bodied, immediately captivating the entire palate and lingering for a long time. The flavours of fruit, minerality, and wood blend harmoniously with well-integrated acidity. As it opens up with air in the glass, it continuously invites the next sip. It has good aging potential of 8 to 10 years.

This wine pairs wonderfully with many autumn dishes, such as pumpkin, risotto, game birds, and truffles. When the weather turns cold, it can also be enjoyed on its own to warm the soul.
