The Frapin family has been rooted in the heart of the Grande Champagne wine-growing region in southwest France since 1270, a heritage that resonates in their exquisite Cognac 1270. This remarkably harmonious Cognac is crafted from a blend of meticulously aged distillates, with the majority resting for extended periods to ensure exceptional quality.

Exclusively sourced from Ugni Blanc grapes grown in Frapin's vineyards, stringent quality control spans from vine cultivation to harvest. The grapes are hand-harvested following Frapin's longstanding traditions. Following double distillation with the lees, the spirit matures for four to five years in French oak barrels within the estate's cellars. During ageing, a quarter of the time is spent in new barrels, imparting subtle wood nuances, while the remainder matures in seasoned barrels, lending complexity without overwhelming the spirit with excessive oak influence.
