We still vividly recall our first encounter with this wine, back with the memorable 2012 vintage. It left an indelible mark on us for its surprising expression of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Maremma region of Tuscany. This wine quickly became one of our favourites. It epitomizes Cabernet Sauvignon with textbook precision—enticing cassis fruit, seamlessly integrated oak that enhances rather than overwhelms, and a subtle hint of mint. The acidity is refreshing, and the tannins are firm yet supple, avoiding any hint of excessive dryness.

It's a testament to both the ideal climate and the skilled craftsmanship of the winemaker. This wine proves that exceptional quality doesn't always come with an exorbitant price tag; it's a true gem that consistently delights and impresses.
