Often overshadowed by its more famous cousins Barolo and Barbaresco, good Nebbiolo wines can easily outshine many mediocre and more expensive options. For under 20 euros, you can experience a Nebbiolo that beautifully encapsulates the essence of Piedmont.

Many enthusiasts liken Langhe Nebbiolo to a "mini-Barolo" due to its youthful vigour and robust herbal and spicy aromas reminiscent of its prestigious sibling. It offers a compelling appeal with its juicy, savoury character on the palate, featuring flavours of red berries and delicate hints of violets. The wine is supported by ripe tannins and mouth-watering acidity, culminating in a satisfyingly long finish and excellent drinkability—it's a preferable alternative to young Barolo.

While delightful in its youth, this wine also has the potential to evolve gracefully in the cellar for five to ten years.
