Description
With this Sauvignon Blanc, Erwin Sabathi shows once again that he is one of the best winemakers in Austria. The large STK Pössnitzberg vineyard has an incline of up to 75% and demonstrates fine minerality.
After a good 18 months in large, traditional oak barrels, this wine is now slowly showing its true potential.
There are hints of acacia blossoms, with pure red currants and white peaches. These are paired with spicy flint aromas, a compact core, and the finest nuanced aromas of red pepper. There's salty minerality on the palate, alongside juicy acidicity with a gripping, vibrating finish that lasts forever - extremely long longevity!
