Description

This Barbera is both a fantastic accompaniment to food and a serious wine to savour.

Typical of Barbera, it is dark, almost opaque with violet reflections. On the nose, there are wonderful red berry aromas, with some strawberry, cherry and a lot of sour cherry, plus vanilla and roasted aromas, paired with herbal notes. The first sip is a dream.

On the palate, it is dense and very meaty, with a lot of cherry and sour cherry aromas, a bit like having the fruit in your mouth. The acidity is really reminiscent of tart cherry and makes your mouth water immediately. It's super juicy and easy-to-drink, yet is a complex wine that lingers on a long finish.
