Dogliotti 1870 Winery

Italy / Piedmont / Castagnole delle Lanze

In 1870, the brothers Giuseppe and Marcello Dogliotti founded their winery in Castiglione Tinella in Piedmont. A lot has changed in wine and cellar technology since then, but the winery still attaches great importance to traditional methods. The know-how has been passed on from generation to generation, and today cousins Erik, Ivan and Matteo bring their passion to the winery.

We got to know the three of them at Vinitaly and were immediately convinced that there was a young, enthusiastic family at work here who bring genuine passion to the production of their wine. Erik is the oenologist, Ivan is responsible for marketing and sales and Matteo is responsible for the graphics, design and the website. With their combined enthusiasm and different talents, they are continuing to expand the winery and, with its high quality, are generating international interest. In addition to the Barbaresco, Nebbiolo and of course Barolo, the winery is also famous for its Moscato d'Asti and produces unique, fine vermouth (wine sprinkled with spices and herbs), which is a popular Aperitivo in the region around Turin.
