Champagne Gosset Grand Rosé Brut, 0,75 L

This Grand Rosé Brut is a blend of equal proportions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It is fermented in the traditional antique bottle that is so typical of Gosset. About eight percent of the Pinot is pressed as red wine, which gives the champagne its delicate rose colour. The very traditional cuvée from first-class sites matures in the bottle on the lees for around three years and has an elegant and intense taste. It shows fine, delicate pearls and a persistently long finish.

There is ripe strawberry on the nose, with some jam and compote fruits. Lots of freshness that evokes the youth of the wine. In the mouth, too, the rosé retains the tension between fruitiness and freshness; here too we find intense strawberry without being intrusive. This excellent rosé Champagne is characterised by harmony and elegance.
