The Roter Veltliner (yes, it's a white wine and no, it's not related to the Grüner Veltliner), was barely mentioned for years, is developing into a trendy niche product with the potential of attaining cult status. This fantastic grape is particularly common in the Kamptal, Wagram and western Weinviertel regions.

Birgit Eichinger's Roter Veltliner from the Stangl vineyard is characterised by fine fruit and a crystal-clear aroma. A wine that impresses at the very first sip and takes wine lovers by storm. A fragrant basket of fruit on the nose, yellow pears, gooseberries, greengages and an exotic touch. Dry and endlessly juicy on the palate. Lots of fruit and, despite its youth, already very mature. The long, long finish makes you want the nest glass. Birgit has a knack for this wine and demonstrates just how good a Roter Veltliner can be.

Pairs well with oysters, strongly seasoned fish and crustaceans.
However, we prefer drinking the wine solo in the company of good friends.
