This "Erste Lage" Grüner Veltliner from the famous Gaisberg vineyard is one of the best in the Kamptal! And Birgit Eichinger knows how to make a beautiful clear and harmonious top-league white wine.
Fine yellow apple, a hint of mango and blossom honey on the nose. The first impressions on the palate are juicy, elegant and delicately spicy. Then come nuances of apricot with a slightly salty aftertaste. A hint of lime follows and lingers powerfully on the palate into the impressive finish. A sensual pleasure in the top leagues of Grüner Veltliner wines at a great price!
A wonderful accompaniment to classic boiled beef or sophisticated pub cuisine.
