Description
This dry, still young Chardonnay Kalk & Lehm was produced for the first time in this vintage and comes from Weingut Erbhof Bayer in the Leitha Mountains. The grapes grew on several vineyards around Donnerskirchen, where shell limestone and loam are found in the soil. It's no secret that Chardonnay feels particularly at home in the Leitha Mountains and the Bayer family is known for honest, very juicy, easy-drinking wines.
A typical Chardonnay - fragrant aromas on the nose, ripe tropical fruits on the palate, balanced and very juicy. The fresh, lively and pleasant acidity makes it light-footed and ends with a delicate salty aftertaste.
Universally loved, pleasing everyone. Pairs well with roasted meat, poultry, hearty pasta dishes or processed and spreadable cheese.
