Description
Like the 2017 vintage, 2018 stands up to scrutiny. The big difference is that these wines have been vinified in concrete tanks in the new winery, which makes the 2018 a bit more "palatable" and fresher than 2017.
You don't get the feeling of drinking a simple Chianti Classico here, but a full-blown wine.
Both enthusiastic beginners and professionals will find this incredibly enjoyable to drink. What more could you want? 100% Sangiovese, super ripe, really fruity and an enormous depth that is not often found in this price range.
So far it has received around 92 points in every year from top critics such as James Suckling, Robert Parker or Antionio Galloni. Anyone who wants to explore the soul of the Chianti Classico region is definitely well advised to consider this wine. Cheers!
