Description
This Weissburgunder in a 0.375l half bottle from the 2019 vintage convinced us during the tasting. Hand-picked, spontaneously fermented and aged in large wooden barrels, this wine is a lot of fun.
On the nose, we smell tender almonds with fresh orange zest. On the palate, the first impression is dry, warm and slightly creamy. The acid is never in the foreground but simply supports the drinking. In the accessible finish, the wine is delicately reminiscent of Burgundy and leaves a fine minerality.
A charming, universal accompaniment that's perfect to drink now, but will bring great pleasure for the next 6-8 years.
