Description
A perfect Blaufränkisch from the Leitha Mountains! And, since it comes from Erwin Tinhof, the wine is organic. The grapes grow in the best vineyards around Eisenstadt. After a good 18 months of ageing in used wooden barrels, this charming wine is now beginning to be ready to drink. The time and rest have done the wine good and shaped it into something great.
A fine aroma of dark berries paired with light notes of wood and some herbs. Warm and ripe on the palate. Harmonious and elegant, it slides down the palate and clearly displays its place of origin. Delicately chalky finish with a mineral note. The youthful tones fade away with every minute in the glass, making it a representative Blaufränkisch.
A splendid wine that can be stored for a good 10-15 years but is already a great accompaniment to food.
