The perfect Welschriesling!

The young "weisser schiefer" by Uwe Schiefer is 100% Welschriesling from Eisenberg. Its famous big brother, the "weisse schiefer S" was named Austria's best Welschriesling in 2018.

After ageing in large wooden barrels, this wine shpws what this often underestimated grape is capable of. Complex aromas on the nose and palate. Stone fruit with green apples meet dark minerality. Dry, clear and very fresh. Builds up pressure and great texture. Good drinking flow and balanced to the last sip.

It pairs well with food and can be aged for at least 5-8 years.
