Ultimate Provence is a relatively new project by a collection of winemakers from Provence that's been causing a stir for over two years now. Typically for this region, the grapes are specially grown for rosé and directly pressed. This is a wine that's well worth trying.
It's light pink in the glass with copper reflections. Fragrant on the nose, with a combination of ripe lemon, raspberry and strawberry. Subtly spicy, floral and fruity on the palate and, thanks to its Syrah content, with good acidity. A fine balance between fruit and freshness. Not too light, instead the wine is medium-bodied with a round, harmonious finish.
A great accompaniment to salmon or seafood. Or just drink to enjoy life.
Plus the beautiful bottle can later be used as a water carafe.
