Introducing "Raue Liebe," a unique red wine limited to just 176 magnums, crafted from the noblest and oldest grape varieties of Central Burgenland's finest vineyards. This enchanting, timeless, and powerful cuvée undergoes an extraordinary ageing process.

The wine matures for 3.5 years in small French oak barrels before being buried and stored for an additional year in barrique barrels within the vineyard itself. At a depth of around two meters, the fine wine receives its finishing touches from Mother Nature. Here, it is shielded from winter frost and harmful germs. The unique microclimate and constant interaction between the wine and the earth impart a well-earned structure and elegance. The soil envelops the wine barrels like a warming cloak, ensuring a stable climate, deep darkness, and silence essential for ageing.

"Here, the wine absorbs the peace and strength it will radiate when savoured. This special form of ageing is one of the oldest and finest methods in the world," explains Stefan Lang.

Each bottle is meticulously hand-packed in a fine wooden box filled with soil, individually numbered, and designed to last for generations. Available only in the best years, "Raue Liebe" is a testament to the timeless connection between nature and winemaking.
