Description

The regional wines Südsteiermark DAC, formerly known as steirische Klassik, are characterised by wonderful fruitiness and aromas. Just like this beautiful, fresh Morillon from the 2023 vintage.

Classically matured in steel tanks and meant to be drunk in the first 3-4 years after the harvest. Delicate aromas of ripe pineapple, some stone fruit and yellow fruit. Very well balanced on the palate, delicately flavoured with supporting acidity typical of the region. Pleasant length with plenty of finesse.
This is what a Chardonnay from southern Styria should taste like!

Pairs well with salads, cream soups and rice dishes. Also perfect when served on its own at a party.
