Fiore del Vento is a single vineyard in Montalcino that is managed by the Loacker family. Hayo Loacker and his team recognized the potential of the individual vineyards and have been bottling various wines from the area as such since then. This was a great choice, as can be seen from the grades of wine critics.

The current 2015 vintage is considered to be one of the top vintages in the region, which we can confirm. It's a little more delicate than 2013 and much more mature than 2014 - very exciting. Whether as a meal accompaniment or savoured alone, this is a dreamlike Brunello. The wine is aged in barriques and large wooden barrels for three years before it is bottled.

Deep dark in colour with a very present bouquet of sour cherry and forest berries, and notes of liquorice and vanilla. Very powerful on the palate, but retaining a cool elegance, which is also supported by the ripe tannins. A very long, powerful finish on the palate underlines the great impression.
